All the settlers went to build their future in the occupied territories
by displacing the Palestinians and robbing them of their property. For
some of them, this was enough.
But there are settlements whose declared aim is the eviction of all
Palestinians from their homeland.
Worse than these is Kiryat-Arba, the fortress of the admirers of the
mass-murderer Baruch Goldstein.
Worse than these are the settlers in the middle of Hebron, an armed
company who commits daily pogroms against the Arab inhabitants.
And worse than all of these is the settlement of Tel-Romeida in Hebron,
whose leader is Baruch Marzel, the heir of Me’ir Kahana.
Before this Marzel, all the Israeli establishment is kneeling: the
President has humiliated himself in front of him, the army commander has
increased the forces guarding his life, Policemen and judges are afraid of
him, the Minister of Defense has promised to fortify the place and the
Prime Minister has promised to build there permanent structures.
We saw them on TV: the hysterical women, the children overturning the
stalls of the Arab market, the youngsters burning Palestinian cars and
mistreating people.
