BEHIND THE NYLON
The world is busy with the Iraq crisis. The Netanyahu government and the
settlers exploit the opportunity in order to grab as much land as possible
(all over the West Bank) and to evict as many Palestinians as possible
(Ma’aleh Adumim area). If they succeed in killing the peace, we shall live
all our lives in a “hermetically sealed room”.
COME AND DEMONSTRATE!
Tomorrow, Saturday, February
21, we shall demonstrate together, Israelis and Palestinians, at the site
of the most blatant outrage – at Kfar Kadum, opposite Jebel Muhammad,
which has been seized by the settlers of Kedumim under the protection of
the government and the army. The demonstration will start at 2 pm in the
central square of Kadum, with the participation of the inhabitants and
important Palestinian personalities.
Buses will leave at 12.30 from northern railway
station (Arlosorov) in Tel-Aviv and Bet Agron in Jerusalem.
If you want to take part, call the Gush telephone
now and leave your name, phone and the number of bus seats required.
In the morning of the same day Israelis and
Palestinians will plant olive trees in Salfit village, which is also
threatened by the settlers. If you want to take part, call the Gush
telephone.
DESPAIR CREATES SUPPORT FOR SADDAM HUSSEIN!
PROVE TO THE PALESTINIANS THAT A SIGNIFICANT
PART OF THE ISRAELI PUBLIC HAS REMAINED TRUE TO THE IDEALS OF PEACE AND
JUSTICE!

Greetings All,
Just to let you know that Saturday was a success. About 70 people
took part in the planting of Olive trees in Salfit, and about 90 in
the demonstration in Kadum. About 20 more were on their way from
Salfit to Kadum, but were held back for an hour by a very strange
"suspicious object" road block, in the middle of nowhere. People
came from all over the country and from various Peace movements. The
Media coverage was quite good too, So all in all,it was a good day.
Best Regards,
