ONCE AGAIN!
The winds
of war blow once again. Once again we rush to the gas mask distribution
centers.
Fear of chemical weapons. Fear of biological weapons. Very soon, fear of
nuclear weapons. The chief UN expert announces that Tel-Aviv can be wiped
out with one stroke.
It is worthwhile for Saddam Hussein
to threaten Israel only because the masses in the Arab countries once again
perceive Israel as the enemy.
He who destroyed the Oslo agreement
did also destroy the chance for a different Middle East.
There is only one way to put an end,
once and forever, to this permanent threat: peace with the Arab world, peace
with the Muslim world.
The
prior condition is:
Peace between Israel and
Palestine.
Until then, we
shall live in fear. Until then, a crisis will erupt every few years.
