There is mikva is in the basement
and the orthodox synagogue - the only one with daily services - is in
the court yard. |
Originally, this building
(1903) was used by the Jewish Lodge B’nei B’rith. During the Nazi
period, the Joseph Lehmann school of the Reform Community was housed
there, preparing pupils for emigration. High Holiday Services were
held in the thirties and weekly Shabbat services after the pogrom of 9th
November 1938.
