"Common European Values" under Attack:
Largest Jewish web portal in Europe brought down
engageonline.org.uk
Last thursday, haGalil.com was brought down by an attack of
hackers. In the early morning, the complete server
was deleted. Apart from haGalil.com, which is today
the largest Jewish web portal in Europe, other
domains connected to the same editors where deleted,
such as antisemitismus.net, berlin-judentum.de,
hagalil.co.il, jewish-conspiracy.com, judentum.org,
klick-nach-rechts.de, koscher.net,
nahost-politik.de, zionismus.info.
But the attempt to destroy the largest and most
multifaceted information and communication portal
about Judaism, Israel and the Middle East conflict
did not succeed: "We are currently working on the
recover. It will take a few more days because of the
large amount of data (about 18 GB), which makes the
analysis of the log files difficult".
