concentration camp complex

Round-Table discussion with Mr. Hans Marsalek (the writer of the KZ
Mauthausen history) and KZ Gusen I, II & III survivors
980509-1600 Gasthaus FLOH, Gusen:
Round-Table discussion with former civilian stone-workers from the
Mauthausen-GUSEN stone-quarries.
980509-1730 MEMORIAL CREMATORIUM KZ GUSEN:
4th Local-International Commemoration GUSEN 98 with the active
participation of hundreds of youngsters from the villages around the
former Mauthausen-GUSEN camps and the Austrian Federal Minister of the
Interior, Mag. Karl Schloegl.
SUNDAY:

Deposit of wreaths by representatives of the diplomatic corps
980510-1000 KZ MAUTHAUSEN Memorial Museum:
International Commemoration

Symposion dedicated to Dr. Johannes Gruber - "The Saint of Gusen" who
helped so many inmates (even children) to survive and who was tortured
to death at KZ Gusen I in April 1944
